Description
Description We are Purcell Tire And Service Centers – We are everywhere on I-5. Aggressive on OTR, Heavy in mining, construction, and Ag. We are BIG on OTR + commercial, BUT we do retail + retread with locations in Renton, Lacey, and Monroe. We’re hiring a hunter to own Seattle metro + the I-5 corridor What You’ll Do: - Own a protected territory. 95% face-to-face selling to commercial fleets, construction, and logging outfits - Build your own route: 5-8 stops/day. We’ll give you min 10 warm accounts on day 1, but your paycheck comes from hunting - Move inventory. Push programs, SPIFFs, and aged stock before it kills margin - Be the technical resource customers trust. DOT codes, load range, wear patterns - If you can’t talk shop, this might not be for you What You Bring: You already know the customers from Olympia to Bellingham - 2+ years outside sales in commercial/OTR tires, truck parts, lubricants, or heavy equipment - You understand why a fleet manager cares about cost-per-mile, not just price-per-tire - Book of business is a plus, but not required - Valid driver’s license + 3-year clean record (no DUIs) - Ability to pass background and drug screen What We Bring: - $75k-$90k guarantee, with uncapped commission - Company truck + gas card + ipad+ phone - No mileage logs - Protected accounts - Real inventory + allocation. If we say we have it, we have it - Home every night. Occasional weekend fleet checks, otherwise M-F - Medical, dental, 401k match, PTO The tire business is small - Reputation matters. If you’re the rep customers actually want to see, let’s talk. If you’re looking for an “order-taking” route, this isn’t it.
Responsibilities
Manage a protected territory by conducting face-to-face sales visits to commercial fleets, construction, and logging outfits. Drive revenue by pushing specific inventory programs and acting as a technical resource for tire specifications and wear patterns.
