Description Position Summary The Outside Sales Representative must be an early riser that works every day with a purpose. Compensation: Base salary plus commission, vehicle plan, technology plan, benefits package Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and manage customer’s experience to ensure satisfaction. Grow our revenue and customer base. Understand machine applications and be able to provide customized solutions. Demonstrate good financial and mathematical acumen. Proactively plan and execute sales calls and meetings, maintaining a high rate of daily interactions. Communicate clearly, both written and verbally, and be an active listener. Embrace daily challenges and enjoy a team environment. Incorporate a strong follow up procedure with customers and co-workers. Plan and participate in customer meals, outings, and industry events. Requirements Qualifications & Skills: Proficient in MS office (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook in particular) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Time management conscious and ability to prioritize work Strong organizational skills Knowledge of sales and sales functions Proven record of success in growing crane/construction equipment rental revenue and client base. 5 years of business-to-business sales experience preferred Possess mechanical aptitude. Exhibit proficiency in computer skills. Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s preferred but not required 5 years construction equipment experience License & Certification: Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office environment, equipment shops environment, job site, or accident site on various types of terrain. Work may be performed outdoors, and exposure to risk and all-weather conditions is associated with this position. Noise, fumes, and chemicals associated with a shop environment are expected. The ability to drive at night is required. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely Frequently walk on uneven surfaces, including natural ground in varying weather conditions Regular and predictable attendance is required Travel Requirements: Occasionally
