Description Air Specialty & Equipment is seeking a dynamic and experienced Outside Sales Representative for the Houston branch! This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for sales and technical solutions and provides an opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients across various industries. Calling on customers in assigned territory, selling new equipment, rentals, parts and service solutions. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Conduct site visits to assess customer requirements and recommend solutions. Provide technical expertise and guidance on the selection, installation, and maintenance of compressed air systems. Collaborate with inside sales team and service department, to ensure job completion. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and Brands. Use company provided system/tools to fully document and capture all related sales activity in a timely manner. Effectively understanding and using all manufacturers’ programs and resources to generate new business. Maintain strong knowledge of used equipment values and be able to evaluate for trading purposes. Proactively seek and participate in available company sponsored training to develop and advance skill set. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support staff, with a constant commitment to teamwork and relationship management. Assisting with account receivables collections, when necessary. Performing all other duties, as assigned by management, in a professional and efficient manner. Requirements 2-5 years of industrial B2B sales experience, preferably with compressed air systems or related equipment. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex systems. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of managing multiple accounts and projects. Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications, CRM and company business software. Established relationships and industry knowledge are a plus for the position.
Responsibilities
