SUMMARY:

The TOTO Direct Sales Representative Position is a Field Sales position. The TOTO Sales Representative is responsible for all sales, servicing and support activities needed to ensure day-to-day responsibilities are managed properly in their territory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.B.A. in Sales, Marketing, or related field plus one (1) year of industry sales experience. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
  • Must also have excellent presentation skills. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sources, evaluates, and initiates sales directly to residential and commercial plumbing contractors, builders, developers, mechanical contractors, municipalities and building maintenance personnel.
  • Showroom Visits; increase/gain TOTO Presence in existing showrooms and seek new showrooms. Update Showroom Binders, New literature requests, showroom displays and Product Knowledge Sessions
  • Assist in maintaining the presentation of TOTO products in showrooms and display areas.
  • Distributor/Wholesaler Visits; Know Key decision Makers. Set monthly targets for distributors and achieve monthly targets.
  • Serves as a liaison between distributor/wholesaler/manufacturer representatives and contractors to pull sales through for shipment.
  • Follow up on orders to insure timely shipment.
  • Maintains close relationships with existing contractors to insure continued business as well as initiate increased business.
  • Establishes new relationships with contractors to gain sales and market penetration.
  • Investigate customer complaints of defective product and/or unsatisfactory service and recommend appropriate action necessary to resolve complaints. Follow complaints to satisfactory conclusion between customer and company.
  • Seek out projects, such as Hospitality and High-end developments.
  • Initial Specification Sales; Architect, Engineers, Contractors and Designers.
  • Perform daily activity reporting on actionable sales activities.
