OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

American Hydraulics is a family owned & has been in business since 1970. We pride ourselves in our service, competitive prices, and overall value. We offer North Central Texas a full service hydraulic cylinder repair facility, with a wide range of capabilities.
We are currently looking for a highly-motivated, self-starter to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining & increasing business with our current customers, as well as establishing new customers. This job is commission based pay.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Identify and establish contact with potential customers in the hydraulic and industrial markets
• Making non-scripted cold calls to establish new leads
• Talk with supervisors &/or service managers at businesses
• Follow up with current customers
• Pick up & delivery to customers
• Stay informed about industry trends to spot new opportunities
• Collaborate with management to recommend targeted marketing strategies based on regional or demographic needs
• Maintaining accurate logs such as expense reports, calls logs, mileage logs, etc.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

· Must be a self-starter

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting customer relationships

· Be able to make cold calls

· Must have Clean Driving Record & be over the age of 21

• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently

· Hydraulic &/or Equipment Industry is preferred
We will provide you with a company vehicle and gas card (to be driven during open business hours).
Salary: 10% Commission
