WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM

As we bring our company’s success to the next level, we are seeking a dynamic and driven Outside Area Sales Manager for the Oakville to East GTA territory to help expand our market presence and build strong customer relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the adhesives, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented with a proactive sales approach.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • A degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Sales Growth: Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth for the Oakville East territory by acquiring new customers and nurturing existing accounts.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored adhesive solutions.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, ensuring consistent market penetration in both industrial and commercial sectors.
  • Product Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on Muir Tapes and Adhesives’ product offerings, including technical specifications and applications.
  • Client Solutions: Provide consultative support to customers, offering recommendations and demonstrating product value in solving specific adhesive challenges.
  • Territory Management: Efficiently manage sales activities, customer visits, and follow-ups within the Oakville East region, ensuring timely and effective service.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback using CRM systems. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the Oakville East area.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Prospect and acquire new customers through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct product presentations and demos to potential customers.
  • Provide after-sales support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing, timely deliveries, and customer service excellence.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
