OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE (ROOFING) — SPOT ON ROOFING & EXTERIOR
Location: Central Ohio (office in Worthington, OH)
Job Type: Full-time, Salary + Uncapped Commission
Base Pay: $36,000–$52,000
On-Target Earnings (Year 1): $150,000+ (uncapped)
Schedule: Full-time, some evenings/Saturdays during peak season
Work setting: In the field (homes across Central Ohio) + office huddles

What You’ll Do
- Run residential appointments (mix of warm leads + your own prospecting)
- Inspect roofs and exteriors (measurements, photos, obvious damage points)
- Educate homeowners on options (repair vs. replacement, retail or insurance claim support)
- Present proposals in-home, handle at-the-table objections, close deals
- Coordinate next steps with operations and keep clean notes in our CRM (AccuLynx)
- Hit weekly activity/close targets without excuses
What You Bring

- Strong communication and follow-through in the home
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, smartphone
- Comfortable on ladders and walking roofs (we’ll train technique/safety)
- Outside sales, home services, athletics, or military background is a plus—not required

Typical Day (realistic)
- Morning: quick huddle, route planning, pipeline follow-ups
- Day: inspections, estimates, closing presentations
- Late day/early evening: prime homeowner appointment window
- End of day: update CRM, set tomorrow’s calendar, move deals forward
Must-Haves
- Ability to work a field schedule (some evenings/Saturdays)
- Comfortable prospecting neighborhoods when needed
- Physically able to carry/raise ladders and walk typical residential roofs
