Description Mako CPC is seeking a driven and results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to lead the growth of our microgrid, power generation, and fueling solutions across the U.S. oil and gas sector. This role is critical in addressing power reliability challenges in remote oilfield environments and data centers by delivering turnkey energy solutions tailored to customer operations. The ideal candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in production and construction departments, ensuring consistent off-grid power and dependable fueling solutions. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-person visits to customer sites and operational offices to generate sales, strengthen relationships, and expand both existing accounts and new business opportunities Identify and develop new customer relationships through networking, industry engagement, and cold calling Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities by developing solutions, negotiating pricing, and securing long-term partnerships Strategically prioritize daily site visits and sales activities based on customer needs, usage patterns, and growth opportunities Coordinate customer requirements and collaborate internally to deliver tailored energy solutions Serve as a liaison between customers, vendors, and internal operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery Communicate proactively with customers and vendors regarding upcoming deliveries, project timelines, and potential opportunities Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and market developments Partner with executive leadership to develop and achieve sales targets and strategic growth objectives Deliver high-quality customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client satisfaction Protect company and customer information through professional discretion and confidentiality Collaborate with other sales representatives to share leads, support deal closures, and ensure proper follow-up Work closely with Operations to coordinate scheduling of services and project execution Contribute to company growth by identifying new opportunities, improving processes, and enhancing overall market presence Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements Qualifications Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in oil & gas, power generation, energy services, or related industries Strong understanding of oilfield operations, power systems, or fueling solutions is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, and close complex sales deals Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a dynamic sales territory Willingness and ability to travel frequently to customer sites Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tracking tools What We Offer Competitive base salary plus commission structure Opportunity to work in a high-growth, essential industry
