Job Overview: Due to the incredible growth we are experiencing, we have a need to hire a talented Outside Sales Representative to join our team. If you are a hard-working, self-motivated sales professional who loves the outdoors and working in a fast-paced environment this is the position for you! Responsibilities: Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely fashion. Review competitor activities in the region and assess opportunities for business development Network with businesses in the territory and build relationships and attend relevant industry events and conferences to build business Build the company within the territory using a variety of sales techniques Work to revenue targets and KPI's as set by the Director of Sales Target potential customers and assess opportunities for sales Arrange meetings with potential customers and sell product offerings Follow up on sales leads from other representatives within the organization Produce quotes and orders as well as documenting sales activities and leveraging business intelligence through CRM. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers Negotiate contracts and close deals Utilize CRM software, to track sales activities and update customer information Travel within territory: 60%-80% Territory: Binghamton, Albany, Syracuse and Rochester Other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications: Relevant industry background gained from a competitor or company in a related industry Proven track record of building business and hitting sales targets Valid Driver's License Skills: Customer Relationship development Ability to sell value to differentiate Rentals To Go from the competition Prospecting / Cold Calling / Referral generation Customer Service Teamwork with all sales channels and operations Lead Sourcing Closing and Negotiating Time Management Organization Excellent follow-up skills (leads, issue resolution, etc.) Strong written and verbal communications Decision Making and Problem Solving Keeping up to date with industry news to identify opportunities for new business Full Time Employee Benefits (Average 30 hours or more per week): Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Company Vehicle Job Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $60,000 Commission: TBD on or before January 2026 Monthly car allowance, fuel card, company cell phone & computer provided Monthly car allowance of $600.00, to cover the expenses associated with the use of your personal vehicle for work-related travel. This allowance will be paid with your regular payroll once per month and is subject to all applicable taxes and withholdings. Employees who receive a monthly vehicle allowance are required to maintain a reliable, insured personal vehicle for business use. The allowance is intended to offset expenses associated with the business use of a personal vehicle (maintenance, insurance, and depreciation). Employees are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle meets all legal and safety requirements and for carrying adequate personal auto insurance coverage. The company assumes no responsibility for costs, damages, or liabilities beyond the agreed allowance. Any traffic violations, citations, fines, legal fees, or expenses resulting from accidents while operating a personal vehicle for business purposes are the sole responsibility of the employee. Work Location: This position is based out of our Norwich, NY headquarters. The role requires regular travel throughout the region, typically 3–4 days per week, with the flexibility to work from a branch location or home office 1–2 days per week as business needs allow.
