Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Outside Sales Representative plays a vital role for the Macklan Group of Companies. This position is responsible for pursuing, developing, and securing sales orders for EASTCUT, covering a territory that extends from the Halifax Regional Municipality to Cape Breton.

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, in a construction products environment
• Valid Driver’s License
• Own a reliable vehicle
• Possess a drive to deliver excellence in everything you do
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Experience in CRM

· Identify leads and business opportunities for EASTCUT, with a specific emphasis on roof trusses, floor cassettes, and panelized products.
· Meet with prospective clients to determine their product and service requirements
· Secure technical information including blueprints and specifications.
· Work closely with the EASTCUT estimating team to ensure accurate development of the client’s quotation.
· Present and follow up on proposals, including detailing and adopting any revisions.
· Present revised quotations and pursue orders.
· Track your efforts and results in the EASTCUT reporting system: Sandbox.
· Work diligently towards exceeding your sales and margin objectives.
