DESCRIPTION

Our client is bursting into the Nova Scotia market as an electrical distributor. Join the team as an Outside Sales Rep and receive:

  • Base Salary of $60,000-$65,000 + commissions on gross revenue
  • Travel Allowance: $600/month
  • Cellphone and Laptop
  • Benefits after 3 months including health dental and vision
  • RRSP matching up to 4% after 1 year
  • PTO days: 4 days after 1 year
  • 2 weeks vacation

Major Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular and scheduled calls on assigned accounts.
  • Provide assistance and product support to customer when required.
  • Promote company by ensuring each account receives product line card as well as other company literature made available to you.
  • Stay attuned to performance of accounts using tools provided.
  • Coordinates, lead and attend scheduled sales meetings.
  • Attend manufacturers training when provided. This may be after business hours on some occasions.
  • Work together with the sales team to ensure projects are quoted and tracked accurately in order to meet established timeliness.
  • Work together with Management to set monthly targets in your territory,
  • Ensure that approved sales and action plan is followed and accomplished.
  • Work with the credit department in the collection of accounts receivable, and to cooperate in adhering to the company’s credit policy.
  • Perform special projects as requested.

Skills and Qualifications

  • MUST HAVE 2 years’ experience working in the Electrical/ Lighting industry
  • 2-3 years’ working knowledge of electrical products
  • Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience
  • Must be results orientated and possess the ability to work independently and in a team
