Position: Outside Sales Representative
Location: Vanier, QC
Shift-timings-Mon-Fri plus overtime
Pay Rate: $83,500 – $87,000/year + Sales Commission
One of our clients, a leader in industrial pipe & fitting distribution, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative for their Quebec City office and warehouse. This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional with a strong background in mechanical/industrial or fire protection products and a passion for building long-term client relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum 4 years of experience in outside sales or customer service in a related industry (mechanical/industrial pipe, valve, and fitting)
· College Diploma in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering Technology (CET), or related field
· Strong business development and negotiation skills
· Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret blueprints
· Excellent bilingual communication skills (French/English)
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications
· Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
· Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Available for daily travel and occasional overnight trips
· Ability to self-manage priorities and work with minimal supervision

Pay: $83,500.00-$88,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

· Develop and grow customer accounts within Quebec City and surrounding areas
· Drive new business through outbound calls, visits, and industry event attendance
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
· Provide timely customer service, quotes, and resolve disputes in coordination with inside sales, credit, and warehouse teams
· Identify, target, and acquire new customer accounts
· Plan and execute territory strategies, route planning, and follow-ups
· Prepare and present monthly sales forecasts and reviews with the Regional Manager
· Stay current on company product lines and industry trends
· Participate in trade shows and special sales functions as required
· Support the order desk and other departments as needed
