alkiss WATER is a private company that is Canadian based and family oriented. Our water can be found in stores, homes and businesses throughout the lower mainland. We are proud sponsors and suppliers of several events and foundations such as The Vancouver Sun Run, BMO Vancouver Marathon, BC Children’s Hospital, BC Lung Foundation and BC Cancer Foundation.

We are currently looking to onboard an outside sales representative to establish connections that would enable us to provide them with our products and maximize our customer base through acquisition, while also maintaining our current and valued accounts. Opportunities are, but not limited to:

  • Supermarkets and Grocery stores
  • Distributors
  • Hotels
  • Gas stations
  • Restaurants and coffee shops
  • Events

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or successful experience in a similar role.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience and knowledge of water or beverage industry is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in outside sales and customer service.
  • Proven ability to close will be considered an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal) with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as ability to adapt to new software with ease.
  • Thorough planning and detailed organization skills with the ability to handle multiple customer accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills with proven sales.
  • Able to track and report weekly targets and analyze annual results. Enabling forecast growths.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor are required; however, a strict business attire is not necessary.
  • Ability to meet physical job requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to grow client base.
  • Be diligent on follow up calls with contacts and be able to provide quotations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Communicate our product lines and the benefits of collaborating/partnering with our company to our existing and prospective clients.
  • Create sales materials that address specific needs of potential customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Negotiate agreements, terms and conditions to benefit all parties.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Support and manage brand awareness at events such as trade shows and events we sponsor with the goal of increasing new opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry news, business trends and competitors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.
  • Update CRM (Customer Relationship Management) on a regular basis with leads or opportunities.
