THE OPPORTUNITY

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a driven outside sales professional to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in Belle River, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the service agreement sales strategy in your territory, including building and managing a customer base, and generating leads for other business units.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • At least two years of previous B2B outside sales experience
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, operations management, sales, or a related field
  • Material handling or construction industry experience is a strong asset
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using a CRM
  • A customer service mindset and a genuine interest in identifying innovative solutions for customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated to achieve results
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region

Responsibilities

As the Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive new Service and Parts revenue within an assigned territory
  • Meet sales targets by adding accounts to maintenance programs and establishing maintenance plans for customers
  • Prospect for new business, effectively managing sales leads, and securing new customer accounts by offering tailored solutions
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and retention for assigned accounts
  • Retain and grow key accounts by proactively identifying new business opportunities and offering innovative solutions
  • Conduct regular customer site visits and meet with new prospective customers
  • Produce leads and opportunities for all Leavitt Machinery business units
  • Tactfully and professionally negotiate with customers to close deals
  • Track leads and maintain accurate records in the CRM
  • Develop expertise in material handling equipment
