As our business is growing rapidly, we need an additional Outside Sales Representatives to service our Milton to London region .
SUMMARY
The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing relationships with current and new customers, preparing service agreements and/or contracts and closing deals within the ideal target group of Industrial Markets which are Warehousing, 3PL facilities, Manufacturing, Food Processing, Packaging Facilities, Yard and Outdoor Industrial. We will rely on you to partner with our customer service, sales and marketing departments to develop a strategic business development plan. You will be a Material Handling Expert and be able to offer Full-Service Warehouse Solutions to customers using a state-of-the-art Sales Management Program available to help manage, track, and maintain all business opportunities. To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field
- Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales
- Experience in material handling equipment sales an asset
- Experience with Salesforce an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and industry-specific analysis software
- Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
- Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for client.
- Strong business acumen
- High attention to detail
- Proactive qualities with the willingness to learn.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work long hours seated and in front of a computer.

Responsibilities:
- Represent and sell complete LNA line of Service Products, Rentals, Aftermarket Items and Class Three Equipment etc.
- Drive and onboard new business, generating daily, weekly, and monthly leads.
- Manage assigned existing business.
- Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
- Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities. Generate leads and complete sales follow ups. Manage all business within your territory.
- Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones. Build a large portfolio of service-based business from new and current accounts.
- Find and develop new markets and improve sales within assigned territory. Inform and assist inside sales team of potential equipment sales opportunities.
- Develop quotes and proposals for clients including but limited to service programs, annual safety and lifting device inspections, planned maintenance programs and communicate terms to stakeholders.
- Promote LTR (Long Term Rental) programs, Lease with Maintenance Programs etc.
- Perform site inspections and enter all information in their account.
- Complete Fleet Refreshment Programs. Upload Customer’s fleet list/assets into our system. Ensure they are accurate with all specifications included.
- Perform onsite Fleet Assessments and Annually Fleet Reviews.
- Sell, Manage and Maintain “LNA Fleet Management Program”.
- Educate existing and new customers on complete range of products and services LNA has to offer.
- Work closely with managers in all departments.
- Liaison between LNA and Customer to ensure customer is satisfied with our service and have what they need when they need it.
- Respond to customer concerns and inquires in real time. Provide solutions.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Perform on site equipment Installations
- Ensure all PM’s and Safeties are complete
- Spec applications to ensure correct equipment is quoted. Communicate with inside equipment sales team.
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs.
- Partner with sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
- Other related duties as assigned
