Prime Fasteners & Tools seeks a dynamic Outside Sales Representative with relevant industry experience to join our enthusiastic and energetic Burnaby team.
The Outside Sales Representatives at Prime Fasteners & Tools are responsible for identifying, prospecting, and developing new business opportunities and supporting and expanding business within a portfolio of existing customers within their designated territory. They are expected to maximize profitable sales opportunities by understanding the markets and products the organization sells and forge strong relationships across all contacts within our customers’ organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong analytical, organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills are a must
· Valid driver’s license and clean abstract
· Knowledge of technical sales and account management principles
· Sales experience in commercial, retail, and manufacturing environments
· Possess excellent problem-solving skills.
· Excellent sales and negotiation skills
· Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

· Demonstrate success in meeting sales goals and increasing sales year over year.
· Meet and exceed a yearly sales and margin budget by determining new sales potential while maintaining existing accounts
· Maintain and improve customer relationships in all areas including product knowledge, special requests, program building, and future business.
· Continuously learn and apply new product knowledge to enhance sales and personal professionalism.
· Proactively arrange time and territory to achieve optimum face-to-face selling opportunities.
· Independently prospect for new business within the assigned territory
· Ensure high customer service and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
· Participate in trade shows, training, or associated product meetings when necessary.
