Outside Sales Representative – B2B Sales – Waste Connections – Cleveland, TN Are you a motivated, goal-driven sales professional ready to make an impact in a growing industry? Waste Connections is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Cleveland, TN market. This role is a high-volume B2B sales opportunity focused on commercial waste removal and disposal services. You’ll manage a mix of new business development and account retention, using a consultative approach to deliver customized solutions to clients in your assigned territory. Key Responsibilities: Sell commercial waste and recycling services to businesses and industrial clients Manage a personal sales territory through cold calling, prospecting, and in-person client visits Develop strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for your book of business Prepare and present customized proposals based on customer needs and waste stream analysis Utilize and maintain Salesforce CRM (ARES) to track leads, opportunities, and follow-ups Monitor contract expiration dates and initiate renewals and upsell opportunities Work closely with internal departments including operations and customer service to meet client expectations Attend networking events, trade shows, and chamber of commerce activities to grow company visibility Stay informed on waste industry trends, services, and pricing models to support customer success Other duties as assigned Qualifications: 2+ years of B2B or outside sales experience preferred Experience in solid waste, environmental services, or industrial sales is a plus Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Comfortable with cold calling, lead generation, and managing a sales pipeline Proficient in using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required Bachelor’s degree preferred What We Offer: Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more Growth and promotion opportunities in a recession-resistant industry Supportive team culture and sales leadership A chance to help businesses operate more sustainably We offer excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long term disability, life insurance, 401K retirement and unlimited opportunities to "Connect with Your Future".
