Description Summary Responsible for generating new business through proactive outside sales activities, including in-person cold calls and client visits, and growing existing accounts in all lines of business for new and/or existing customers. Prospects and develops new client relationships in line with identified company priorities, with a significant focus on in-person engagement. Develops and improves relationships to drive increased market share and sales opportunities through consistent field presence and customer interaction. What You'll Do Drive growth through active networking, cold calling, and scheduled client visits. Develop tailored logistics solutions for new and existing customers using a consultative sales approach. Manage current accounts through excellent service and regular on-site visits. Prepare and deliver pricing proposals and roll out new customer initiatives. Document all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress in company systems. Requirements Qualifications Solid sales skills and ability to uncover effective customer solutions Solid teamwork skills Shows initiative – engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities Very adaptable – responds effectively to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus using good written and verbal communication skills Basic Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills Education and/or Experience High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of three years of previous account development, outside sales or relevant experience preferred Experience in logistics, supply chain, freight and/or transportation industry.
