JOB DESCRIPTION

The Outside Sales Representative shall represent the company at various oil sand sites in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. The role requires the individual to share the company’s product and service offerings with clients to maintain and secure new business.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES WHO POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience in industrial-type sales
· Ability to prospect for new clients
· Self-motivated and able to work independently
· Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for new business development. Develop sales strategies and achieve the sales targets.
  2. Prospect new customers, set appointments with client representatives, and share the company’s product and service offerings.
  3. Attend meetings at client sites to discuss product, service, and operational issues, document meeting minutes, and communicate solutions to clients after the technical team has provided them.
  4. Respond professionally and promptly to customers’ requests, and follow through by effectively coordinating the installation and maintenance of fire suppression systems, fluid power systems, lubrication systems, and other product offerings with service coordinators.
  5. Analyze current sales and service data to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Prepare a site visit report for each visit and specify the highlights and lowlights to the reporting manager.
  7. Every week, prepare a sales prospecting report with status and update management.
