Since 1938, W. W. Cannon, llc. provides turnkey materials handling and storage planning solution for warehouse, distribution and manufacturing facilities. We are currently looking for an outsides sales representative in the Austin / San Antonio area to provide the right solutions for out customer’s needs and attain sales goals through consistent use of communication, company systems, professionalism and follow through with customers and vendors. To continue developing a new customer base and maintain current customers by providing exceptional customer service and manage projects, installation of products or systems sold.
Our customers depend on your expertise and problem solving skills to analyze, recommend and provide the equipment and solutions to keep their warehouse, distribution center or manufacturing facility running in a productive, safe and ergonomic way, which greatly impacts their bottom line and the safety environment of their facility.

SUMMARY

Outside Sales Representatives attain sales goals by developing new customer relationships and maintaining existing ones through daily sales calls and cold calling. They follow established company processes to input, contact, and follow up on all assigned leads. Timely and accurate reporting of lead status/progress to the Sales Manager, Vendors and Marketing is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One to two years of previous sales experience in industrial sales preferred.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor with the ability to work well with diverse personalities.
  • Computer savvy, with experience using CRM and quoting systems (NetSuite and HubSpot preferred).
  • Highly organized with excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks with effective problem-solving.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Business casual attire required (no jeans).

Responsibilities
  • Prompt and proper handling of all sales leads assigned, ensuring timely follow-up and thorough documentation and communication of progress and lead status.
  • Accurate and consistent completion of customer information, quoting, follow-up, and closing of sales using NetSuite and HubSpot CRM systems according to established company SOP’s.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service by identifying and delivering the right solutions for customer needs, and partnering with the Project Coordinators in managing proper installation of products or systems sold.
  • Ensure customer files are developed and maintained. Be prepared and organized at the beginning of each day through effective planning.
  • Maintain an acceptable gross profit margin on all orders. Prepare and submit quotes and bids neatly, accurately, and on time.
  • Attend sales and vendor meetings. Continuously build product knowledge through vendor training, meetings, and review of provided materials.
  • Participate in weekly planning meetings and communicate weekly goals, personal needs, and any issues related to customers, projects, or vendors with Inside Sales and the Sales Manager.
