Job Description Summary Are you outgoing, customer-focused, organized, self-disciplined and motivated by money? We have just the position for you. Municipal Emergency Services (MES) is looking for Rescue Tool Specialist to assist Fire Departments and other First Responder departments in your assigned territory with extrication tool needs. You will work closely with existing customers and new prospects as the face of MES through the entire sales cycle and provide end user training and product setup when necessary. This is a full time position with the potential to earn significant monthly commissions. In addition to our great commission program, we provide our Rescue Tool Specialists with a company cell phone, laptop, and professional branded apparel and training to set you up for success! MES is the Nation’s largest suppliers of personal protective equipment, extrication equipment, law enforcement products, and services to the first responder market. Territory: Northern VA, Charlotte, NC and Atlanta, GA. Travel: This position will require 85% travel. Essential Job Functions: Effective listening, communication (verbal and written), and negotiating skills Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards Able to perform business math (gross margin calculations, etc.) Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check Desired Characteristics Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under deadlines Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality. Good communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues. Mechanically inclined Requirements Physical Requirements: Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 60 lbs.) are required. Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Minimum 2 - 3 years in similar position Prior experience selling to fire equipment Technical Rescue Experience 5 years + Fire and Rescue experience in a leadership role (preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) REAL-ID is required to work in Federal sites Benefits: Salary plus Commission! Responsibilities
