Description We are seeking a motivated Outside Service Representative to maintain existing business relationships and develop new relationships to expand our service business. In this position you be representing Freightliner and Western Star. HSA and/or FSA, as applicable Paid Time Off, Sick Time, and Company Paid Holidays Employee Car Discount Program ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Regularly call on established accounts to assist with customer relationships and sell Boyer Trucks products and services. Establish and qualify new accounts. Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers. Regularly travel within designated territory. Maintain familiarity with all vendor products. Maintain daily contact with major accounts assigned to you. Complete tasks within the designated budget for travel and entertainment. Additional duties as assigned. Requirements WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Activities require a full range of motion including handling, lifting, manual dexterity, finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Position requires standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time. Position requires the occasional ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 45 pounds. Position requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range. Must be able to regularly get in and out of vehicle's. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing. Ability to obtain a CDL within 90 days. Ability to work independently and with a group. Ability to travel. Proven ability to develop relationships and close sales. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-Oriented Ability to successfully complete a general abilities assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening. PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Truck and/or mechanical experience or knowledge is preferred.
