GOLF SHOP ATTENDANT

Oakfield Golf and Country Club is an 18 Hole Championship golf course located in Enfield, Nova Scotia. Oakfield GCC was established in 1962 as an inclusive, welcoming and modern country club. The course was originally designed by
Robbie Robinson, a Stanley Thompson protégé. The course has since been renovated by Graham Cooke at the turn of the century. Oakfield GCC is a semi private golf club with a large membership, modern lifestyle and a member first approach to service.

SUMMARY:

The Outside Services team is responsible for providing high level customer service to all club patrons by providing prompt and friendly service. The Attendant will perform customer service duties in a helpful and professional manner at all times while ensuring that the members and guests have an enjoyable experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Mature individual with a positive attitude, and customer service oriented.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Takes initiative, and able to anticipate what needs to be done.
• Able to work as part of a team towards a common goal, and service standard.
• Able to work independently at times.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Able to lift up to 20+ lbs.

EXPERIENCE:

• Hospitality and/or Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

• The organization and cleanliness of club storage,
• Assisting members with their golf clubs and push/electric carts prior to tee times.
• The cleaning, staging, and power cart presentation.
• The set up, organization, and cleanliness of the practice facilities.
• Provide excellent customer service and support as required.
• Ensure the backshop and “cart barn”, and other outside areas around the clubhouse are clean and presentable at all times.
• Offer assistance to all members and provide them with requested information and directions.
• Comply with Oakfield health and safety legislation.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
