Job Title: Overhead Crane Operator (2nd Shift) Location: York, PA Shift: 2nd Shift Job Type: Contract to Hire Pay Rate: $18.00 - $23.00/Hour (Depending on Experience) General Description: We are seeking a versatile Material Handler for our 2nd shift at our facility in Industrial Drive, PA. This position is ideal for someone who can act as a switch hitter, meaning you’ll be ready to take on various tasks as needed. The Material Handler will assist with a variety of duties, including skidding, operating machines, using an overhead crane, parts cleaning, and more. \n Key Responsibilities: Handle, move, and stage materials within the facility. Operate overhead cranes to transport materials and assist with production processes. Help with skidding materials, ensuring that all items are appropriately packaged and prepared for shipment. Run machines as needed to support production, ensuring smooth operations. Perform parts cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and readiness of materials. Assist with inventory management, keeping track of materials and supplies. Ensure that safety protocols are followed while operating equipment and handling materials. Provide support to various departments as required to ensure efficient production workflows. Requirements: Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferred. Ability to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other machinery safely. Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to changing duties throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environments a plus. Willingness to learn and take on various tasks across different areas of production. \n
