Skills and Responsibilities: Door Installation: Proficiently install overhead doors according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements. Door Repair: Efficiently repair overhead doors, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions to restore functionality. Equipment Adjustment: Adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal performance and smooth operation of doors. Disassembly and Removal: Safely remove or disassemble defective automatic mechanical door closers using appropriate hand tools. Order Replacement Parts: Accurately order replacement springs, sections, or slats as needed for repairs. Site Inspection: Inspect job sites, assessing headroom, side room, and other conditions to determine the suitability of the door for a given location. Follow-Up: Follow up on completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer expectations. Customer Interaction: Interact with customers and subcontractors in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and concerns. Lifting: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs consistently throughout the day. Requirements Required: Product and Process Knowledge: Understanding of products, processes, and paperwork to ensure accurate installations and repairs. Knowledge Growth: Commitment to continually expanding the knowledge base and keeping up with industry changes. Adaptability: Ability to adjust the approach to meet changing demands on the fly.
