Together, we specialize in the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead doors, dock levelers, and related equipment for commercial and industrial facilities. Mar-Lin Dock & Door is on the hunt for a Lead Hand, Service Technician—skilled, dedicated individuals ready to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair overhead doors, loading docks, and related equipment Perform on‑site welding and fabrication as required to support installation and repair work Complete work orders, inspection sheets, and capture site photos for documentation Maintain service equipment and ensure all tools are in safe, working condition Adhere to safety regulations and deliver exceptional customer service on every job Coordinate and assist team members on complex installations and repairs Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure timely project completion Oversee and mentor Service Technician Apprentices, providing guidance and support What we're looking for: 2+ years of lead hand, loading docks and commercial overhead doors experience Proven welding experience Clean, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools Comfortable working at heights Positive attitude and a team-first mindset What's in it for you?
