A2SKI-PDI, a dynamic partnership between Provincial Doors Inc. and A2SKI Industrial (subsidiary of PBGOC), is seeking an experienced Overhead Door Technician to join our growing team in Saskatoon. With over 35 years of industrial experience, we specialize in world-class door systems and industrial services across Saskatchewan and Western Canada. Our expertise spans design, manufacturing, project management, installation, and service in industries including mining, agriculture, defense, and commercial sectors. We are driven by innovation, sustainability, and community empowerment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Valid Driver’s Licence and a clean driver’s abstract
· Criminal Record Check
· One to three years of hands-on experience with overhead doors, automatic doors, or related systems
· Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical systems an asset
· Ability to read technical drawings and follow installation specifications
· Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

· Inspecting job sites for door clearance of commercial and industrial doors
· Adjusting doors if they malfunction
· Installation: hanging back hangers to ceilings and installing tracks, setting doors in place, installing springs, ensure proper functioning, calibrating and setting electrical garage door openers
· Maintenance and Repair: perform routine inspections, lubricate door tracks and wheels, replace springs, and diagnose issues with door systems and provide effective solutions
· Communicate effectively with team members and customers to explain services and address any concerns
· Complete all reporting and tracking documentation as required for each project
· Abide by all safety policies and procedures
