Position: Overnight Baker

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an artisanal bakery or similar environment or a professional degree in culinary, pastry, bread/viennoiserie
  • Expertise in making breads, with a deep understanding of French baking techniques
  • Ability to work overnights, starting at 10 pm, to ensure our bakery is ready for the day
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious breads
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays when necessary
Responsibilities
  • Check production list and manage production without supervision to meet daily needs
  • Prepare and bake a wide variety of French-inspired pastries, including croissants, pain au chocolat, and other delectable treats
  • Produce and garnish pastries, viennoiserie, bread, sandwiches as instructed/needed
  • Infuse your creations with the essence of French baking while incorporating our innovative twist
  • Follow recipes and ensure the consistent quality of baked goods
  • Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and sanitized to maintain high standards of hygiene
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute baking schedules efficiently
  • Monitor inventory and inform the management about ingredient needs
  • Exhibit creativity and innovation to develop new and exciting pastry offerings
