Job Details Level: Entry Job Location: Cadillac Jacks Gaming Resort - Deadwood, SD 57732 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $16.50 Hourly Job Shift: Any Overnight Cashier (Full Time) The Casino Cashier is responsible for controlling and accounting of transactions completed at the cage windows. The Casino Cashier performs transactions with high volume cash and performs non-cash transactions for our guests in a courteous, accurate and timely manner. The Floor Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in all public areas of the Casino, as well as responds to guest requests while working on the Casino floor. Responsibilities Provide legendary guest service with respect, passion and dedication. Process Credit and Debit card advancements, cash personal checks and exchange cash, chips and tickets for guest. Process all transaction accurately and with integrity. Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift. Enter patron transactions into the company computer system accurately. Prepare paperwork, balance sheets and documents in accordance with our standards and procedures. Strictly adhere to department policies and procedures in order to maintain integrity of operation. Apply accurate transaction and balancing practices. Transfer cash, chips and checks between cages and/or departments in an accurate and efficient manner. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations. Promote positive public/team member relations at all times. Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required A minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of high-volume money handling or cashiering experience; ideally in the casino or banking industry. Strong cash handling and counting skills. Must have proficient basic math skills with ten key experience. Excellent interpersonal and team building skills. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience. Ability to develop knowledge of computer systems, both company and vendor provided, to a proficient level. Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals. Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional demeanor. Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment while adhering to strict guidelines and controls. Must be detail oriented. Must be 21 years of age, and must be able to obtain a gaming license with the South Dakota Gaming Commission.
