Job Title: Dock Lead (Night Shift) Department: Donated Goods Program (DGP) Reports to: Dock Manager (Night Shift) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Mission Support: Goodwill Houston (GWH) is leading change, connecting people, and improving the potential for the future of work. Position Summary: Assist in the day-to-day operations to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of the dock and salvage workforce, maximizing profitability and increasing training opportunities. Provide direction, job training, development, and support of dock and salvage team members concerning the proper and safe handling of goods, leading to increased revenues for GWH mission services funding. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Ensures alignment and consistency of all aspects of dock and salvage operations, including SOPs, Reference Guides, job descriptions, performance evaluations, observation checklists, production standards, training, Safety Programs, and other documents related to DGR systems. *

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day dock and salvage operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and maximum profitability. Provide direction, training, and support to team members regarding the safe handling of donated goods.
