• Cosentino’s Food Stores is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Overnight Grocery Manager to lead our overnight team. This role requires a strong leader with comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, product knowledge, and merchandising. The Overnight Grocery Manager is expected to oversee all aspects of overnight grocery operations, ensuring efficient stocking, sanitation, and customer service while maintaining a positive and productive work environment. This position demands excellent communication, leadership, and management skills, coupled with a commitment to food safety and sanitation. Hours for overnight shifts fall between 9pm - 7am, including weekends and holidays. Salary will be evaluated on previous experience a candidate brings with them.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Thorough knowledge of retail operations and warehousing procedures.
• Working knowledge of point of sale (POS) systems.
• General knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate pallet jacks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven management experience, demonstrating leadership and team-building abilities.
• Strong arithmetic and general mathematics skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of experience in grocery management or a related field.
• Experience with merchandising and selling techniques.
• Comprehensive knowledge of product knowledge, including perishables.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
