The Palm Springs/Joshua Tree KOA is a campground looking for enthusiastic people to join our outdoor guest service team. Located in the beautiful California desert about 40 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, we are a wintertime destination offering camping in RVs, Cabins, Deluxe Cabins and tents year round. Our goal is to create a great camping experience for our guests by offering excellent customer service. If you enjoy meeting new people, working in a fun yet challenging environment, and helping families create memories to last a lifetime we want to talk to you!

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, 30-40 hours/week
  • Wednesday - Sunday evenings
  • 10pm - 6:30am
  • $18/hour
  • Subsidized Health Insurance & Simple IRA contributions after completed milestones

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in hospitality industry
  • Good customer service and communications skills
  • Able to work with others and work independently
  • Licensed Driver-able to operate light vehicles safely on and off property
  • Professional Appearance and attitude towards guests and fellow team members
  • Communicate professionally and patiently
  • Be on your feet during shift and able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • General knowledge of maintenance and use of common repair tools
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plu

Responsibilities
  • Ensures customers receive a high level of service consistent with our customer service philosophy
  • Help to ensure the safety of guest and resort property with attentive observation and action
  • Coordinate with all staff for guest arrivals
  • Coordinate with all staff for problem resolution when available
  • Learn and operate Campground Management system
  • Communicate with all staff and management using Microsoft Teams and Paylocity online platforms.
  • Enforce campground policies and implement solutions consistent with goals of park
  • Proactive guest management to ensure resort like environment for all guests
  • Welcome after hours guests and complete check in process
  • Light custodial work Maintain high standard of cleanliness in all facilities
  • Participate in team training sessions
  • Light pool maintenance
  • Complete various duties as assigned by manager which can include but are not limited to: light janitorial duties, assisting other departments in completion of tasks, overall support in daily performance of the campground
