JOB SUMMARY:

Hilton Garden Inn Fredericton Downtown is seeking a dependable and detail-focused Overnight Housekeeping Attendant to ensure the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas during overnight hours. As part of the Hilton brand, you’ll contribute to creating a welcoming, spotless, and safe environment that reflects our commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a 24/7 hotel operation
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
  • Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred; hotel experience is a strong asset
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction and Hilton brand service standards
    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: $18.36 per hour
    Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week

Responsibilities
  • Perform overnight cleaning and housekeeping duties in guest rooms, ensuring rooms meet Hilton’s cleanliness and brand standards
  • Promptly deliver guest requests and amenities with professionalism and courtesy
  • Clean and polish glass, metal, doors, and fixtures in public areas
  • Maintain the cleanliness and order of the hotel lobby; rearrange furniture as needed
  • Routinely inspect and report any maintenance issues or potential safety hazards
  • Check furniture for damage (tears, stains, or wear) and report concerns to the Executive Housekeeper
  • Clean and restock all assigned public restrooms; ensure sanitation and hygiene standards are met
  • Empty garbage and recycling receptacles in all designated areas
  • Deep clean carpets, rugs, upholstery, and drapery in public spaces per schedule
  • Sweep, mop, wax, and polish public area floors to maintain a high standard of appearance
  • Assist with additional duties or special projects as directed by the Executive Housekeeper or hotel management
