Job Details Job Location: Rutland, VT Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $19.75 - $22.03 Hourly Job Shift: 3rd Shift Description Overnight Molding Operator, Plastics (Band 4) Shift A: Overnight, 12 hour shift Starting pay range: $19.75-$22.03 POSITION SUMMARY: This key position requires the efficient and safe operation of a variety of machines on the molding production line. Also requires mechanical skill, and ability to read and follow customer specifications. RESPONSIBILITIES: Operates injection molding equipment, adjusts machines, ensures, quality, deflashes parts. Follow safety rules, procedures, guidelines, and training given. Recognize and report hazards to designated individual(s). Actively participate in safety program. Practice safe work habits and report accidents/injuries immediately. Flexibility in job assignments and adaptability to changing business needs Continually learn and apply new skills. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area Work cooperatively with team members. Actively listen and ask questions to understand. Contribute to a positive team environment. Maintain excellent attendance, including overtime as required. Other duties as requested, directed, or assigned and fill in at other areas, or other buildings, as needed. General knowledge of small hand tools is preferred. Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Self-motivated and able to work independently. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations. Proficiency in reading a tape measure. Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 60 pounds, with reaching, pulling, pushing.
