What You’ll Do Medication Management → Accurately administer, dispense, and document medications per physician orders. Client Monitoring → Observe physical/mental health, track vital signs, and respond promptly to changes. Direct Client Support → Build rapport, answer health-related concerns, and foster a therapeutic environment. Crisis Response → Provide immediate medical support and de-escalation in emergencies. Collaboration → Work alongside physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care. Documentation → Maintain accurate EMR notes, assessments, and reports in compliance with standards. Health Education → Teach clients about medications, wellness practices, and self-care. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Current LVN, LPT, or RN license in California — active and in good standing (no board actions). Previous experience in behavioral health or SUD treatment preferred. Knowledge of mental health interventions, medication management, and recovery principles. Valid California Driver’s License required. Must pass a LiveScan background check and drug screen as required by licensing authorities. CPR & First Aid Certification required.
