OVERNIGHT OPERATIONS MANAGER The Overnight Supervisor is responsible to supervise and inspect the work of assigned areas, kitchens, bars, patios, staircases and/or public area [https://setupmyhotel.com/homepage/hotel-management-glossary/public-area.html]s to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to clients according to hotel and company business objectives during the night time. Responsibilities: * Monitor and lead overnight team at various locations * Train and supervise maintenance staff at the site, including night cleaners -- inspecting all areas and ensuring that standards are upheld. * Schedule routine cleaning and maintenance of all common areas, and as requested by the Property Managers. * Monitor the cleanliness of internal and external contractual obligations * Monitor and operate cleaning equipment. * Cleaning and providing training with team members * Ensure trash removal and maintain the organization of the trash area. * Assign projects to the overnight cleaning team * Communicate to the director of operations with updates, feedback, inventories, orders, and disciplinary action * Travel between sites nightly * Monitor and control schedules Knowledge and Skills: * Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in maintenance work as well Inventory mechanical/janitorial supplies * Must have excellent internal and external customer service skills * Ability to lead others and motivate people * Hands on experience with cleaning techniques, shampoo machines, buffers/waxers, floor cleaning including stripping, cleaning and sanitizing of kitchens, restrooms, ansul systems * Ability to work individually and as part of a team; an intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills * Microsoft Office skills, i.e. Excel, Word plus Gmail, Google docs, Google calendar * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Bi-lingual English/Spanish * Must possess valid unrestricted US Drivers License * Familiarity with driving in NYC metropolitan area * Must be able to pass DMV background check * Experience in Janitorial and Maintenance required. Requirements *  High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum of 5 years experience in full-service hotels and full understanding of housekeeping and culinary cleaning standards  * Local candidates only * U.S. Citizenship/Work Authorization required * Five (5) years of supervisory experience * Proven ability to effectively lead and manage the overall operation of the department budget and be able to control operating expenses, you must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial concepts, budgeting, and other accounting operations * Be able to lift 50 pounds without restrictions * Candidates should be strong leaders, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional customer service Working conditions * Close and distance vision. Frequent sitting with some walking and standing.
