Overview Supervise overnight housekeeping to maintain established operational standards and maximize guest service and profit for the hotel. Assist in working with & training new overnight employees. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Help make find and maintain staffing levels Ensure guest needs are met and public areas maintained Train, cross-train, and re-train (when necessary) overnight desk/auditors. Help Motivate and Empower all overnight staff Cover shifts when needed Any other duties the Director of Housekeeping assigns DESIRED COMPETENCIES, WORK SKILLS, AND KNOWDLEGE REQUIRED To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies. Other competencies not listed may be required for specific positions. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Ability to communicate in English. Ability to achieve positive guest relations and maximize guest satisfaction. Ability to guide, coach & hold staff accountable in a positive manner Ability to enforce all company rules and SOPs. Strong computer skills & have a core business sense Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School education or equivalent experience preferred Hotel Experience/Customer service Supervisor experience preferred Security experience recommended Valid Driver's License required Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hour based on qualifications and experience.
