Overnight Security Department: Front Office Employment Type: Full Time Location: Mountain View, California Compensation: $25.00 / hour Description As a key member of the Guest Experience Team, the Security Officer plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both employees and guests, fostering a setting where comfort, trust, and productivity can thrive. Key Responsibilities The Security Officer actively participates in the day-to-day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property To safeguard the hotel, guest and associates' property from vandalism, theft and any kind of crime To monitor and to control the movement of all associates, visitors, and contractors leaving or entering the hotel through the staff entrance To handle all tasks with diplomacy, tact, appropriate discretion and efficiency To record and to control all visitors' belongings / items when entering and leaving the hotel premises through the associate entrance or loading dock To ensure that unauthorized personnel do not gain access to the hotel floors and back of the house areas To be fully conversant with every detail of the hotel layout To ensure to check all current events, activities, and functions at the time of duty To patrol the areas of responsibility and to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests Skills, Knowledge and Expertise We are looking for individuals who are skilled problem solvers with a high attention to detail and a high sense of ethics and honesty The Security Officer position involves a large amount of contact with guests, local law enforcement and other hotel personal and excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills are required As this position is physical in nature candidates must be able to stand for up to 8hrs per shift and lift up to 50lbs Have excellent customer service and guest contact skills Must be able to multi-task and have the ability to manage priorities with a high attention to detail Enjoy working in a dynamic, creative and fast-paced environment Outgoing and people-oriented personality Effective interpersonal skills and a great team player Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Employee discount Life insurance Paid Time Off
