Job Description What You Will Be Doing: • Coach housemen and public area attendant on any discrepancies in their areas • Submit maintenance reports/requests in Alice and follow up for completion • Check appearance of all employees to ensure compliance with Fairmont standards of appearance • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service • Lead and supervise the Stewarding and Housekeeping overnight teams in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed • Supervise and maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other areas assigned • Maintain inventory and record keeping for all dinnerware, flatware and glassware, order china, glass and silver • Make routine inspections of all equipment and kitchen areas to ensure that cleanliness and sanitary procedures are maintained • Ensure all breakages and chipped items are taken out of circulation and inventoried • Ensure all equipment is in working order and report any items in need of repair • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA requirements • Monitor and control labor costs • Partner with Hotel Security when handling emergency situations such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, and systems outages • Other duties as assigned Qualifications Your Skills and Qualifications: • 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in Food & Beverage or Stewarding • Previous cleaning experience required • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications preferred • University/College degree in a related discipline an asset • Highly responsible & reliable • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Additional Information What is in it for you: Competitive salary and flexible benefit plans Generous PTO allowances Employee rates at Accor properties in NCA region Learning programs through our Academies Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!
