WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Toyota’s Production Control Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Overseas Parts Ordering/Logistics Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to order and manage overseas parts.
Reporting to the Overseas Parts Ordering & Logistics Manager, the person in this role will support the Production Control Department’s objective to maintain overseas parts inventory by utilizing various systems, analyze the supply chain from Japan to TMMK (Toyota Kentucky) for abnormal conditions, and monitor ongoing daily activities and projects through the use of KPIs.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain parts inventory by utilizing Overseas Ordering Systems
  • Daily analysis of all abnormal conditions in the supply chain of inbound pipeline from Japan to TMMK
  • Develop, visualize & monitor KPIs, Operating Procedures & Project Schedules
  • Manage inventory to meet Build Out and Start Up targets with zero impact to safety and production
  • Partner with Conveyance groups to reduce internal part shortages & overflow
  • Request & monitor recovery of abnormal conditions that occur in the supply chain
