Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Courier. As a Courier, you will be responsible for loading and delivering large packages/ items. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently drive company vehicles to deliver packages and documents to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle
- Obtain proof of delivery from recipients
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Report any issues or incidents encountered during deliveries
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Your own large van with relevent insurance
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy packages, up to 30kg
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Note: This position requires working in a warehouse environment for package sorting or other related tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £140.00-£300.00 per day
