  • Valid Class 1 License is required
  • Clean 5 years Commercial driving abstract
  • Fast Card will be an asset
  • Must have Highway and Mountain driving Experience
  • Truck should not be older than 10 years
  • Open to driver at night
  • Open to use Manual/ Electric pallet jack, Loading/ Unloading and hand bombing
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable with smartphone technology
  • Reliable, flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors
  • Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations

Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION :

We are looking for a professional and safety-oriented Class 1 Owner Operator, you will have the ability to work well with minimal supervision and have a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks promptly and safely. You must have a passion for driving safely and defensively on the roads, for yourself and for others. You are not afraid of hard work and you are able to perform well in a fast paced and physically demanding environment.

  • Must be comfortable driving to Various regions in BC, Oregon, California, Alberta
  • 3-4 nights’ out

DUTIES TO BE PERFORMED :

  • Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
  • Conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
  • Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
  • Coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
  • Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.
