Arc’teryx is growing across Australia and New Zealand, and we’re looking for a People & Culture Advisor who knows retail HR inside and out — someone who’s proactive, grounded in ER, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, multi-site environment. This is a hands-on, end-to-end generalist role; perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, navigating complexity, and being a trusted partner to leaders and employees alike. What you’ll be doing Provide day-to-day HR advice across the full employee lifecycle Partner with leaders to strengthen people leadership capability through coaching, capability uplift, and targeted training that supports performance, engagement, and team effectiveness Manage employee relations matters end-to-end, including performance, conduct, grievances, and terminations Coach retail leaders on people practices, performance management, policies, and change Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding across the retail network Prepare employment offers, contracts, variations, and formal HR correspondence Ensure HR systems (including Workday) are accurate, compliant, and up to date Support compliance with employment legislation and relevant Awards Contribute to the review and rollout of HR policies, processes, and global initiatives Partner with Talent on recruitment coordination, onboarding, and induction delivery Support visa and immigration processes where required Support the broader People & Culture team with projects, escalations, and key lifecycle events What we’re looking for 3+ years’ experience in a generalist HR or people operations role Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources (or related field) Proven HR experience within the retail industry Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters end-to-end A natural problem-solver who shows initiative, curiosity, and accountability Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information The ability to balance empathy with clear boundaries and compliance Confidence working autonomously while collaborating closely with a team What’s In It for You Competitive salary + bonus scheme Generous staff discount across Arc’teryx and other Amer Sports brands Paid parental leave top-up program Career pathways across ANZ and across the globe A chance to build something new and be part of a like-minded outdoor-loving crew
