GENERAL FUNCTION / SUMMARY The P&C Personal Line Sales Agent is responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in the personal insurance sector. This role requires a proactive, goal-driven professional with strong sales acumen and a deep understanding of personal insurance products. The Sales Producer will build and maintain client relationships, provide tailored risk management solutions, and contribute to revenue growth. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively generate new sales leads through agent referrals; obtain all necessary information to convert leads into qualified prospects and clients. Present proposals to prospects and clients, close sales, and complete thorough exposure analysis. Develop accounts and cross-sell products and services within the P&C Department and/or the agency's All-in-One Platform. Be proficient in and utilize carrier rating systems provided for agency use, along with the agency management system and related websites. Maintain accurate and complete documentation for both existing and prospective clients. Identify carrier risk appetites, target classes, underwriting guidelines, and product offerings. Respond promptly to client inquiries, carrier requests, and incoming correspondence. Attend training sessions, sales meetings, and courses to maintain up-to-date skills, industry knowledge, and compliance with regulations. Ensure adherence to company policies, carrier requirements, and industry standards while maintaining the highest ethical service practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Stay informed about marketplace developments, competitive trends, and evolving consumer needs. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license. Minimum 5 years of experience in personal insurance (preferred). Experience working with affluent market and high-net-worth clients, as well as related insurance carriers (preferred). Experience with agency bill processes and premium financing (preferred). Bilingual in English and Chinese. Proven sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficient in agency management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and related technology.
