GENERAL FUNCTION / SUMMARY The P&C Commercial Line Senior Sales Agent is responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in the commercial insurance sector. This role requires a proactive, goal-driven professional with strong sales acumen and a deep understanding of personal insurance products. The Sr Sales Agent will build and maintain client relationships, provide tailored risk management solutions, and contribute to revenue growth. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team to support business development for our Commercial Lines division. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively generate new sales leads, obtain all necessary information to turn leads into prospects and clients Present proposals to prospects and clients, close sales, and complete exposure analysis Provide proactive risk management advice to existing clients and resolve client issues Identify carrier risk appetites, carrier information, target classes, and underwriting guidelines Identify and pursue cross-sell and cross-referral opportunities amongst existing clients proactively Stay informed about marketplace developments, competitive trends, and evolving consumer needs Maintain proper documentation for existing and prospective clients Attend training sessions and courses to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bilingual in Chinese and English 6+ years of successful commercial insurance sales experience with active P&C license Experienced in placing commercial insurance policies for high-risk clients in E&S market Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred Excellent communication and presentation abilities Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows Suite and Agency Management System WHO WE ARE With over 30 years of experience, TransGlobal has grown into the largest Asian-focused, all-in-one financial services platform in the U.S. We offer a comprehensive suite of services-including life and health insurance, annuities, real estate, private lending, tax and estate planning, and investment management-through a network of 30+ branches across 14 states and over 5,000 professional independent agents.
