Education and Experience: * Must have high school diploma or GED * Must have valid TX driver's license and be insurable Job Purpose: * Must demonstrate a concern for the rights, privileges, and dignity of individuals served * Provides daily programming, training, direct care, and supervision to individuals served * Will provide direct care and supervision to individuals with intellectual disability, mental illness, or substance abuse * Must have understanding of the diagnosis of Intellectual Disability and its impact on persons Job Function: * Will implement treatment plans, crisis intervention, documentation, and supervising medications * Will maintain individual care in a safe, therapeutic and professional manner * Must be able to administer CPR * Must be able to consistently and accurately perform the documentation tasks as assigned * Will demonstrate flexibility in adapting to a situation in which frequent interruptions are inherent * Must be able to transport in Center vehicles both out of town and in town * Must be able to work weekends, evenings, holidays and over night shifts Central Plains Center is an EEO employer - M/F/Vets/Disabled
