POSITION OVERVIEW:

We’re seeking a friendly and motivated Part-Time Sales Associate who is comfortable around animals and enjoys helping customers. This role involves customer service, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on their feet during shifts.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be comfortable and confident around dogs, cats, and small animals
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Previous retail experience is a plus, but not required

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, knowledgeable manner
• Recommend appropriate products based on pet needs
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Stock shelves and rotate products (may require lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
• Assist with merchandising, displays, and inventory counts
• Follow store procedures and safety guidelines
• Occasionally interact with pets brought into the store
