Description

Process Analysis and Improvement

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of Procure to Pay sub-processes (Invoicing, Vendor Master Data, Procurement, Payments, Reconciliations, Travel and Expense) to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Design and refine processes to enhance efficiency and applicability across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to boost operational performance and drive efficiency in global processes.
  • Conducting Research and Data Analysis: perform research on current AI trends, technologies, and best practices to assist the team in staying up to date and analyze and process large datasets to extract meaningful insights for AI model development.

Assisting with AI Model Development

  • Assist in building and optimizing machine learning models, ensuring they meet project requirements.
  • Participate in the preprocessing of datasets and data cleaning to improve the performance of AI models.
  • Work with supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques, depending on the project.

Implementation and Change Management

  • Facilitate the implementation of optimized processes, ensuring seamless transitions for impacted stakeholders.
  • Implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during process, data, control, and system improvements.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders for successful implementation and adherence to optimized processes.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across regions and departments to gather insights and ensure alignment with enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, financial controls, and global process optimization goals.
  • Lead workshops and meetings to refine workflows and applications, meeting the needs of diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional projects, providing expertise on global process optimization and contributing to organizational efficiency.

Documentation and Monitoring

  • Develop and maintain clear and standardized process, system, data, and control documentation.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for optimized processes and controls.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a global process improvement roadmap, aligning initiatives with organizational objectives.

Risk Management and Strategic Planning

  • Anticipate market changes and contribute to the development of proactive strategies.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with process changes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to align technology solutions with optimized business processes and controls.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least yellow belt certification of process improvement methodologies (Lean)
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procurement Desk, Vendor Master, and Travel and Expense
  • B2+ English in written and oral communication.
  • Proven ability to work and navigate in a global organization, interacting with multiple layers within the organizational matrix
  • Proven analytical skills and problem-solving skills around accounting analytics and processes.
  • Ability to document processes from start to finish and update documentation as per required.
  • Project Management ability to implement process improvement projects across the end to end procure to pay process.
  • Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Package knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and MS Project Skills
  • Ability to influence upper management.
