DESCRIPTION

In this role, you’ll lead complex network implementations from design to cutover, collaborate with international customers, and support the growth and consistency of our global operations. You’ll play a key role in internal knowledge development—mentoring junior engineers, creating technical documentation, and providing guidance during escalations.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • 5+ years of experience configuring Cisco routers and switches in a production WAN
  • Prior experience building router configurations using templates and BGP routing expertise.
  • Prior knowledge of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, NAT, VPN, etc.), firewalls, and network security principles.
  • Prior experience mentoring technical teams or delivering technical training

Qualifications WE Prefer

  • Prior experience diagnosing network and application issues through analysis of packet captures or system logs
  • Excellent oral and written communication and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • CCNA certification required, CCNP highly preferred.
  • Prior experience implementing WAN connectivity in a large-scale enterprise or service provider environments.
  • Experience developing structed training content and technical documentation
  • Extensive knowledge of the ARINC Global Network (AGN).
