The Burn APP will join the Acute Care Surgery division at Butterworth Hospital, supporting an established burn center seeking verification. This role combines inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, including rounding on burn patients, assisting with procedures, and participating in clinic care. The APP will collaborate closely with Burn surgeons, ACS APPs, and rotating residents, contributing to education and performance improvement initiatives. Key Highlights: Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible; minimal weekends; intermittent home call (no more than 1 weekday night per week). Scope: Inpatient care (floor, ICU), outpatient clinic, procedural support. Team: 5 physicians, 8 APPs; strong culture and high retention. Growth Opportunity: Help shape the role and advance burn program verification. Requirements: 3–5 years experience preferred (burn or wound care experience ideal). Ability to care for adult and pediatric patients. Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to high-quality care.
